Durant reaches five-year extension with Thunder

07/07/2010 - Oklahoma City, OK (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Forward Kevin Durant has reached an agreement on a five-year contract extension with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Durant made the announcement on Wednesday via Twitter. There was no confirmation from the Thunder.

Durant is the reigning NBA scoring leader after averaging 30.1 points while appearing in all 82 regular-season games in 2009-10.

Taken second overall by the defunct Seattle SuperSonics in the 2007 draft, Durant has averaged 25.3 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.7 assists for his career.

Points (or Runs) Scored

Another bet across all major team sports including football, basketball, baseball, and hockey involves wagering on the amount of scoring in a game, called an Over/Under total. For example, the Over/Under total on Super Bowl XXXIX was 48, which means a bettor could wager whether there would be more or less than 48 points scored by both teams combined in the game.

The final score of Super Bowl XXXIX was 24-21; the scoring of both teams added up to 45, which means the game went Under . So Under bettors won, and Over bettors lost.
